It was something we had hand turned by an F1 components manufacturer just after launch in 2007, but decided it was far too costly to launch as a product in itself (the retail price would have been many hundreds of pounds, just to cover the production cost of the jar).

Machined from aircraft grade aluminium, it has an O-ring seal and holds 250ml of product. The screw lid has a smooth, yet satisfyingly mechanical, feel, and there is a fair bit of engraving on it. The finish is anodised. There is only one exactly like this in existence, and we won’t be making any more.

Wax wise, you can choose any wax you like – but the soft waxes will sit in it better after filling.
